The outdoor club has had two outings to start the year. The first was a kayaking trip to Pierce Pond and the second was a hike in the Bigelow Mountains and Cranberry Peak. With a mix of students and adults, we have enjoyed perfect fall weather and comradeship. Our next outing is a Fall Rendezvous to Acadia National Park on Oct 10 and 11th. We will be joining other High School Outing Clubs to perform a trail service project on Saturday, and different schools will be either hiking, biking, or rock climbing on Sunday. This is sponsored by an organization called Teens To Trails and is a wonderful opportunity to network with other clubs and share enthusiasm and successes. This is also the day for SAT's for Juniors and Seniors, so check your schedules and talk to Nini Christensen with questions or concerns.
